Okotoks Show & Shine
The Okotoks Show & Shine, established in 2009, has grown into one of the most beloved annual events in Okotoks. Each summer, more than 20,000 spectators fill the streets of Olde Towne to admire over 500 unique cars and trucks . It’s a signature community celebration that simply can’t be missed.
At its core, this event is all about fun—fun for car enthusiasts, fun for families, and fun for volunteers of all ages. As visitors stroll through the streets, you can hear the excitement in their voices as they marvel at the incredible vehicles on display. Many reminisce about the days when they owned something similar, while younger spectators gain a new appreciation for the craftsmanship, history, and passion behind these remarkable machines.
Organized by a dedicated team of volunteers and proudly supported by the Big Rock Auto Club, the Show & Shine captures the true spirit of community. Enthusiasts proudly showcase their “pride and joy” to thousands of visitors. Families wander the streets taking in the sights. Seniors reconnect with memories from decades past. And everyone enjoys the lively atmosphere—great music, delicious food, a sunny beer garden, and the knowledge that proceeds from the event go directly to local charities, helping support the community that makes this show possible.

Join us for a day on the greens where business meets community impact. The Chamber Charity Golf Tournament brings together golfers, sponsors, and community leaders to raise funds for 18 local non-profit charities — all at once.
Each participating charity has been provided a complimentary Hole Sponsorship, giving them the opportunity to raise funds and awareness directly at their assigned hole throughout the day. In addition, select sponsorship opportunities will include a 50/50 proceeds share, with funds divided equally among the 18 participating charities — multiplying the impact of every dollar raised.
It’s a powerful way to network, build relationships, and demonstrate your commitment to community — all while enjoying a great day of golf in support of causes that make a difference locally.

Santa's Workshop
BCO’s Santa’s Workshop will be located in High River until December 22 this year, opening up and taking Volunteers for wrapping and more! HUGE thank you to Ugly Decks for their support and donation of venue space!
This is our joyful workspace where the magic happens in preparation for our Christmas Feast Campaign. Our elves (aka volunteers!) will be busy with heartwarming tasks like: Toy sorting/matching, contacting nominees, organizing, wrapping gifts, prepping packages for delivery day, and disassembling Santa's Workshop.
We are currently building our schedule and will send it to all of our elves.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 12 pm -3 pm
Our Elves are busy behind the scenes, but additional times may be available, including evenings and weekends, depending on Elf duties and volunteer availability.

Baby It's Cold Outside Christmas Delivery
Delivery to all of families on Sunday December 22nd from 7:00am-10:30am. This is our delivery day for all packages for the nominated families.
We start the day at Okotoks Sobeys at an assigned time, we offer you a family grocery list (approx 1-3 families depending here you are willing to deliver to/travel), you will fill your shopping cart with your list of items, then BCO will pay for the groceries. You will then go to our BCO/Santa’s Workshop (location TBA) to get the toys and pie for the nominated family, then you deliver to them in the foothills that morning. After all if complete, you will take a picture of the location and send us a confirmation text it is complete.
Time commitment for this volunteer task depends on area you're driving to, number of families you're delivering for and if there are any special requirements.
***Please note there is a waiting period in-line at Sobey's the morning of - as all groceries must be put through a single till. (This is a great time to visit with other volunteers)
Baby It's Cold Outside Wrapping Party
Volunteer to help us wrap all the gifts and toys we have for our Christmas Feast program. This is such a fun evening for you, your family or even a group of friends or work colleagues. We provide all the materials, snacks and music - you bring the Christmas spirit! We need ALL volunteers to REGISTER here.
